According to ANEEL, the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency, hydroelectric power stations are classified as follows: Small Hydropower Plants (SHP): defined as having an installed capacity of between 1 MW and 30 MW; and Large Hydropower Plants (LHP): defined as having an installed capacity of over 30 MW.

Brennand Investimentos trades renewable energy on both the regulated and free energy markets. Our customers are energy distributors, free market companies, energy traders and generation companies across Brazil.

ABOUT US
Brennand Investimentos began operations in the year 2004, with the acquisition of two large hydropower plants (LHPs) on the River Juba, in Mato Grosso State. Three more small hydropower plants (SHPs) were subsequently acquired in the State of Tocantins. In 2009, the construction of two SHPs was concluded in the State of Mato Grosso.
